From the Winery:
TERROIR : Domaine de Lathevalle is located on the West side of village
Morgon , on the most southern area of appellation. The vineyards are on
a gently sloping hillside, with south-east exposition. The range Les
Charmes coming from old vines (50 years old in average) is planted on
soils composed of sand and granite; it’s why this wine is so fruity!
VINIFICATION AND AGEING : Partial carbonic maceration with subsequent cap management, aging 6 months in concrete vessels
TASTING : The color is garnet-red and deep. A complex nose on ripe red fruits
and spicy notes, with an elegant mouth, gourmet and rich.
FOOD SUGGESTIONS : Easy drinking wine, to drink on grilled meats and plates of french cold
cuts and cheeses. Taste it also on chocolates desserts! It’s marvelous!
