Just outside Modena, in the historic Grasparossa di Castelvetro DOC, the Pezzuoli family has been making Lambrusco since 1932. Here the soil is flat, fertile and rich in minerals, giving its wines more body and tannins. As the fourth generation winemaker, Alberto has moved the estate into sustainable and organic practices.
