Tasting Notes: From Florent Nys, oenologist and BILLECART-SALMON’s Chief Winemaker
Appearance: A radiant colour with a sparkling intensity, entwined with a beautiful pale pink hue.
An elegant visual ensemble bestowed with a graceful effervescence.

Aroma: Subtle and fine aromas, leading to a gourmand
seduction of red berry flavours and citrus zest with an
aromatic burst of great finesse which is both floral and refreshing.

Palate: An outstanding tactile sensation with a creamy
smoothness, which evolves into a very noble notion with a character of wild strawberries and a slightly raspberry finish. A harmonious and delicious equilibrium with a remarkable precision.

Tasting: It is the best accompaniment to any happy occasion, but also with a fillet of wild salmon or a carpaccio of langoustines. In terms of desserts, it will enhance the flavours of red fruits with an acidic crunch
Service temperature: 8-9°C.

Critical Acclaim
Rated 94James Suckling “A gorgeous rosé Champagne with sliced strawberries, orange peel and hints of cream and pie crust. Medium body, tight and integrated tannins and a long and flavorful finish. Tangy acidity. The texture shows a fine bead and lightness. Long and intense. Drink now.”

Rated 93Decanter “Gentle red fruits rise from the glass. In the mouth it’s attractively bright and youthful, with citrus and cranberry notes. The very fresh acidity and primary fruits give way to autolytic notes and cappuccino with time, followed by a long, savoury, saline finish.

Rated 92 Wine Enthusiast “The palest of rosés, this is an elegant, structured wine. Its dryness is balanced by the fine apple and red-currant fruits and the strong sense of minerality. Fragrant and lightly structured”
