It’s a 90+ Point Party!!!
Check out our notes on these beautiful summer selections…
Lomas Del Valle Sauvignon Blanc – Fresh citrus and minerality, a refreshing perspective on Sauv. Blanc from the classic New Zealand variety. “This wine is known for their intense fruity expression, incredible freshness and natural acids.”
Finca la Luz Callejon de Crimen Malbec Gran Reserva – Dark fruit, smooth, full-bodied spice, & luscious tannins.
92 Points – Masters of Wine “Deep red with violet hues. Delicate aromas highlight ripe red fruits with hints of mint that are very harmonized with notes of oaky vanilla and chocolate. On the palate, this wine features ripe plum notes and a very good acidity with a hint of raisins and sweet tannins.”
Felipe Staiti Euforia – Recently new to the shop, impressive score, and equally impressive to taste. This Malbec is bright with ripe fruit and has a well round oaky quality to it.
91 Points – James Suckling “A very balanced and refined red with plum, berry and light dried mushroom character. Full to medium body, fine tannins and a savory finish. Reserved style.”
Bodegas Luzon Portu Jumilla Red – This wine has been referred to as the definition of elegance and tradition for its hand selected harvest and low yield. We couldn’t agree more. This bottle was a big hit with our wine club a few months ago.
92 Points Vinous Media – “80% monastrell and 20% cabernet sauvignon; aged for 18 months in new French and American oak): Inky purple. Powerful, oak-spiced black and blue fruit aromas show excellent clarity and verve.”
