Yering Station Chardonnay

Crushed, pressed into stainless steel tanks for settling prior to fermentation in French oak, 25% new oak. No malolactic fermentation. Lees stirring. Bottled after 11 months. Pale Straw. A pure and complex nose, with flinty, minerally characters as well as citrus with some almond and spicy complexity. The palate is clean and fresh with well-integrated oak characters. Like the nose, the palate is quite minerally and has great poise. This wine will age beautifully over the next 4-5 years.
