Although it may not have the sheer power or refinement of its mates that carry the "reserve" moniker, this involving wine stills get an enthusiastic thumbs-up vote for its well-focused fruit, its careful use of sweet oak and its fine sense of balance. Tannic enough for keeping but not so much that it cannot be drunk with steaks in the near term, it is a happy reminder that good buys in Cabernet still can be found."
