"The Barbaresco Riserva Montestefano is another of the more fruit-driven wines in 2001. It is not terribly expressive in its aromatics, yet it comes to life on the palate where it offers notable fullness and sweetness, with masses of sweet cherry fruit and a big, strapping personality. Although it is not especially complex it will offer much pleasure. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2019."
