"Osprey's Dominion is located on Long Island's North Fork. Thirteen acres of Merlot grow under the watchful eye of the soaring Osprey. Our Merlot was aged in French and American oak barrels for fourteen months resulting in a wine of exceptional depth and elegance. Ripe cherry and plum fruit intertwined with wisps of smoke undertones of cedar. Chocolate and herbs, solid structure; tannins are firm yet of a fine texture; long concentrated finish, an appropriate wine to serve with red meats, or hearty vegetable dishes flavored with mediterranean herbs.
