"Rich in honeyed ripeness and caramelly oak with elements of roasted grains and dried herbs showing throughout its length, this fat and very full-bodied Chardonnay makes no claims to refinement but cannot be faulted for lack of scale. Almost thick on the palate and slightly hot at the end, it strikes us as one best consumed while young, and its no-holds-barred style directs it to service with fairly flavorful entrees such as pork scaloppini or lightly smoked salmon."
