Dolium Petit Reserva Syrah 2005

Only 3000 bottles a year are made of this Argentine Syrah. The grapes that went into this wine come from low-yield vineyard parcels, and are always picked by hand. The grapes are then gently crushed preventing harsh tannins from becoming a factor in the final product. After fermentation, the wine is then aged about 18 months in French and American oak. The end result is a Syrah with deliciously fresh raspberry, and blueberry aromas and flavors with skillfully integrated toast and vanilla notes. Please allow this wine to breath for about one hour before drinking, or cellar for a couple of years to enjoy later.
