"Ripe berries, dusty spice and a balanced bit of sweet oak come together nicely in the attractive aromas of this one. While slightly roughed up by pushy tannins in the mouth, the wine is fairly fruity from front to back and avoids the pitfalls of runaway ripeness. It should hold up well with mid-term aging, and will provide good service with grilled hunks of beef or lamb. GOOD VALUE"
