Acrobat Pinot Gris Oregon White Wine 750 mL
Acrobat Pinot Gris Oregon White Wine 750 mL
The 2015 vintage was fermented in 100% stainless steel tanks, which were temperature controlled to maximize fruit character. This wine benefited from sur lie aging for 3 months prior to bottling.
A complex nose of lemon, pineapple and Key lime pie is accented by firm notes of vanilla custard and jasmine. Bright flavors of fresh lime, lemon zest and green mango are immediately apparent, with riper fruit flavors of pear and guava lingering in the mid-palate. There is an effortless balance of acidity, minerality and fresh fruit flavors that make this wine easy to return to.

Vinous 89 points - Limpid straw-yellow. Aromas of pear, white peach and melon, lifted by a spicy ginger element. Juicy, focused and light on its feet, offering brisk citrus and orchard fruit flavors and a touch of fennel. Shows good clarity and tangy cut on a lively, citrusy finish..February/2018

Decanter 89 points - Steel white colour. Sweet, but not exactly fruity; it’s the sweetness of clean upholstery and freshly unpacked electronic devices, with some sappiness and a little leafy freshness. Attractively delicate and filigree in flavour, this is a very pretty, bright, high-focus wine with crisp acidity, discreet orchard fruits, mid-palate weight and a pungent finish..March/2018

Left Coast Cellars The Orchards Willamette Valley Pinot Gris Oregon White Wine 750 mL
Left Coast Cellars The Orchards Willamette Valley Pinot Gris Oregon White Wine 750 mL

88 Points from Wine Enthusiast

"This tasty bottle does not push for maximum ripeness, settling comfortably into a ripe-enough mix of apples, pears and nectarines. There's a dusting of cinnamon and even a little hint of brown sugar, though the wine is definitely finished dry. The balance holds true through a medium-long finish." - PG

Torii Mor Pinot Gris 2010 White Oregon Wine
Torii Mor Pinot Gris 2010 White Oregon Wine
"The aroma begins with floral notes of honeysuckle (sweetness, and richness) followed by notes of ripe pears. The flavors show a crisp acidity, lively ripe pears, apples, honey-licorice notes and a pear-clove-citrus after taste. The wine texture is rich and round with a light spritziness. The finish is oily and long with lasting spiciness and fruitiness. This Pinot gris is ready to drink now, but will open up and soften over the next year." -The Winery
