Alain Jaume Vacqueyras Grande Garrigue 2009 Red Rhone Wine
Alain Jaume Vacqueyras Grande Garrigue 2009 Red Rhone Wine
91 Points - Wine Advocate, August 2010
"The 2009 Alain Jaume Vacqueyras Grande Garrigue is much more backward, displaying a denser blue/purple color, thicker, richer blue and black fruits, and hints of kirsch, lavender, and garrigue. Still grapy and unformed, but loaded with potential given its depth of concentration and richness, it will benefit from another 2-3 months of bottle age, and keep for 5-8 years." -Robert Parker

Chateau de la Gardine Chateauneuf du Pape 2014 Red Rhone Wine
Chateau de la Gardine Chateauneuf du Pape 2014 Red Rhone Wine
91 Points - Vinous, April 2015 for the previous vintage.
"Vivid ruby. Mineral-accented cherry, raspberry and licorice scents are complemented by a deeper note of dark chocolate. Stains the palate with sweet red and dark berry flavors complicated by notes of candied lavender and coconut. Smoothly melds power and vivacity, finishing on a gently tannic note, with very good persistence and lingering floral character." -Josh Raynolds

Chateau de Manissy Chateauneuf du Papes Red Rhone Wine 750 mL

Wine Advocate 90 points - A big step up over the 2015, the 2016 Chateauneuf-du-Pape (100% Grenache) is loaded with notions of black raspberries, blueberries, violets and peppery herbs. Big, rich, layered, and beautifully textured, it has a plump, rounded mid-palate, plenty of sweet fruit and a great finish..October/2017

Chateau de Manissy Cotes du Rhone Red Rhone Wine
Chateau de Manissy Cotes du Rhone Red Rhone Wine

Previous Vintage [2013] : 86 Points - Wine Enthusiast, February 2015 "Located in Tavel, Manissy is an organic producer whose red Côtes du Rhône is a blend of 60% Grenache, 25% Carignan and 15% Counoise. Whiffs of thyme and bay leaf accent slightly confected cherry fruit in this reasonably crisp, easy-to-drink wine. There’s not much tannin, so you might even try it slightly chilled." — J.C.

Chateau de Montfaucon Lirac Baron Louis 2013 French Rhone Red Wine 750mL
Chateau de Montfaucon Lirac Baron Louis 2013 French Rhone Red Wine 750mL

Montfaucon is located opposite to Chateauneuf-du-Pape, just across the Rhone River. Our vineyards are spread out between Montfaucon and the two neighbouring towns, Roquemaure and St Genies de Comolas. The original 18 hectares (1995) of vineyards have grown to 45 hectares by planting new vineyards and by buying old ones. Our vines are up to 90 years old with an average age of 40 years. All the vineyards are farmed at low yields (between 25 to 42 hl/ha). Wine Advocate 88 points - The top red of the estate is the 2013 Baron Louis Lirac and it’s a blend of 55% Grenache, 15% each of Syrah and Cinsault, and the rest Carignan and Mourvedre. More concentrated and structured than the straight Lirac, yet also more austere and firm, it has savory notes of wood smoke, black currants, sandalwood and pepper on the nose. Give it a year or two in bottle and enjoy bottles through 2023..Jeb Dunnuck, March/2016

Chateau de Saint Cosme Cotes du Rhone 2017 Red Rhone Wine 750 mL
Chateau de Saint Cosme Cotes du Rhone 2017 Red Rhone Wine 750 mL

100% Syrah. Partially destemmed crop. Limestone sand, red clay and pebbles on Villafranchian terraces. Tank ageing. After the magnificent 2015, here is the superb 2016. In the Côtes du Rhône appellation, I have never seen two vintages of such a high standard in succession. The 2016 may even prove to be better over time because yields were lower than in 2015.

Chateau Mont-Redon Chateauneuf du Pape 2014 Red Rhone Wine 750mL
Chateau Mont-Redon Chateauneuf du Pape 2014 Red Rhone Wine 750mL

Vinous 92 points  - Brilliant ruby. Energetic, mineral-tinged red berry and floral pastille aromas show excellent clarity and building spiciness. Silky, sweet and powerful in the mouth, offering raspberry liqueur and lavender flavors that steadily become deeper with air. Fine-grained tannins give gentle grip to the impressively long, penetrating finish, which strongly echoes the floral and red berry notes. In a distinctly suave style, with no rough edges..April/2016
