Ch Auney L Hermitage Cuvee Cana Graves Blanc Bordeaux French White Wine 750 mL
"This is not a ‘flashy’ top cuvee – it carries more complexity than the basic cuvee, is very light on its feet, and is a classic expression of the terroir of the Graves district." -The Importer

Ch Fourcas Dupre Listrac-Medoc French Bordeaux Red Wine 750 mL
Ch Fourcas Dupre Listrac-Medoc French Bordeaux Red Wine 750 mL
rated (91-93) Wine Advocate 27 April 2016
The 2015 Fourcas-Dupre offers plenty of blackberry and boysenberry fruit on the nose, a touch of brine here, a subtle marine influence that lends it complexity and personality. The palate is medium-bodied with a juicy opening, a melange of red and black fruit, taut and quite linear with plenty of freshness and tension on the finish. This is a well-crafted Listrac that punches well above my expectations. Hopefully it can retain this level after its élevage - one to keep an eye on. -Neal Martin

"Extremely aromatic with dried flowers, perfumed and sandalwood and blackcurrants. Full body, ultra-fine tannins, a gorgeous core of ripe fruit and blackcurrants and blueberries. Racy and very long. So impressive. This needs four or five years to come around but already so fine." -James Suckling 97 pts

Chateau Barreyres Haut Medoc 2010 Red Bordeaux Wine
Chateau Barreyres Haut Medoc 2010 Red Bordeaux Wine
for previous vintage 89 Points - Wine Enthusiast, December 2009
"Dense, dark wine, with good black plum, fig, coffee and sweet raisin flavors. The ripe tannins fit well into this fruit melange, with definite richness from new wood. There is good, juicy power here, as the wine finishes well with both dry tannin and fresh acidity." -Roger Voss

for previous vintage 87 Points - Wine Spectator, March 2009
"Blackberry and red licorice follow through to a full body, with firm tannins and a currant, berry and cherry aftertaste. A little lean. Best from 2010 through 2013. 48,000 cases made." -James Suckling

Chateau Beausejour Puisseguin Saint-Emilion Cuvee 2014
Chateau Beausejour Puisseguin Saint-Emilion Cuvee 2014
Château Beauséjour was built in 1851 . The rich family who built it owned several vineyard estates in the Bordeaux region and were also prosperous wine merchants. In those days, the large chai was used to store and age the most prestigious wines of the Saint Émilion and Pomerol regions (Cheval Blanc, Petrus, Beau-Séjour, Nénin, La Conseillante, ... and Château Beauséjour!) The estate was purchased in 1994 by a group of wine loving investors. During this period, a Negociant Company was in charge of the management and the marketing of the wines. Pierre BERNAULT has owned Château Beauséjour since December 2004; Pierre comes from a family of vine growers, who have been cultivating their own vineyards since 1850. As soon as Pierre Bernault bought Beauséjour, Stéphane Derenoncourt and his team got involved in giving them advice on restoration of the vineyard and the soil, as well as on the rigorous stages of the process of making and maturing wine.

Chateau Bellevue Saint Emilion 2003 Red Bordeaux Wine 750 mL
Chateau Bellevue Saint Emilion 2003 Red Bordeaux Wine 750 mL

Rated 93 Points Wine Advocate #164 April 2006

"This 15+ acre estate, situated on a south/southwest-facing slope, has been making sensational wines since 2000, when the management of the vineyard and winemaking were taken over by Nicolas Thienpont and Stephane Derenoncourt. The 40-year-old, bio-dynamically farmed vineyard is planted with 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. The 2003 possesses superb ripeness as well as a stony, mineral liqueur-like intensity, a reticent but promising perfume of black raspberries, sweet kirsch, and blacker fruits, a full-bodied, powerful, concentrated attack and mid-palate, and a blockbuster, long, powerful, moderately tannic finish. It is an infant in terms of development. No doubt this site’s clay and limestone soils were the perfect antidote for the summer’s torrid heat and drought. This superb effort should only be purchased by patient connoisseurs. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2025+"

Chateau Bellisle Mondotte St Emilion Grand Cru 2005 French Red Bordeaux Wine 750 mL
Chateau Bellisle Mondotte St Emilion Grand Cru 2005 French Red Bordeaux Wine 750 mL
Rated (89-91) points from The Wine Advocate; eRobertParker.com issue #164 April, 2006:

"Unquestionably the best example of Bellisle-Mondotte (which lives in the shadow of its neighbor, La Mondotte) I have yet tasted, the 2005 exhibits a deep ruby/purple color along with sweet black fruit notes interwoven with new oak, licorice, and loamy soil undertones. Medium to full-bodied, moderately tannic, fresh, lively, and vibrant, it will provide enjoyable drinking over the next 15 years. Drink: 2006-2021."

Rated 91 points from Wine Spectator; March 31st, 2008:

"Has licorice, blackberry and mineral character on the nose. Full-bodied, with very well-integrated tannins and a seamless tannin structure. Balanced and refined. Very pretty. Best after 2013. 1,830 cases made." –JS

Chateau Bernadotte Haut Medoc 2010 Red Bordeaux Wine
Chateau Bernadotte Haut Medoc 2010 Red Bordeaux Wine

Previous Vintage:

90 Points - International Wine Cellar, July 2012 "Good full red. Redcurrant, mocha and cedary, smoky oak on the ripe nose, with a hint of peppery lift. Lush, ripe and concentrated, offering a dense, thick texture for this wine and a hint of salty herbs. Nicely subtle and perfumed in the mouth. Finishes with suave tannins and sneaky length. A sleeper of the vintage, for drinking over the next 15 years." -Stephen Tanzer 89 Points - Wine Advocate, February 2012 "This blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the best wines to yet come from this estate, owned by the proprietors of Pichon Lalande in Pauillac. Juicy, succulent, cedary black currant fruit intermixed with licorice, herbs and spice box are very pure, authoritative and substantial. Dark ruby/purple, medium to full-bodied and delicious, this wine should be drunk over the next 10-15 years. A sleeper." -Robert Parker
