Caduceus Cellars Nagual de la Naga Arizona 2013 Red Wine 750mL
Caduceus Cellars Nagual de la Naga Arizona 2013 Red Wine 750mL
"1990 Sassacaia, 1990 Masseto, I’d be thrilled to live in the immense shadow of the wine from this region of my 1st love, Tuscany. She has a spell cast over me. She taunts me like the Sirens. I believe it’s the dance between the Sangiovese and the Cab Sav. The beef and cherries. This template is by far the biggest guess. When this wine was conceived, no one in this area has attempted Sangiovese that I was aware of. Therefore no physical evidence to suggest that we would be able to pull off the NAGA. The Kundalini Serpent. The Mountain Goddess. Only the educated guess based on terrior and some faith in our intuition. We now know for certain that Sangiovese does well in both Southern and Northern Arizona as evidenced by the Nagual del MARZO and KITSUNÉ. The Naga will continue to be one our flagship blends. And as of 2010 this wine is now made from 100% Arizona fruit." -The Winery

Chateau La Conseillante Pomerol 2000 Red Bordeaux Wine
Chateau La Conseillante Pomerol 2000 Red Bordeaux Wine

Extremely limited, No discounts! 96 Points - Wine Advocate, June 2010 "La Conseillante made an excellent wine in 2001, another great one in 2005, and the estate hit home runs in both 2008 and, above all, in 2009. In fact, the latter vintage may well end up being the modern-day reference point for La Conseillante. Nevertheless, there's a lot to be said for this 2000. An elegant, gentle style that is never a blockbuster, the 2000 La Conseillante has a deep ruby/plum/purple color and an unbelievably expressive nose of sweet kirsch liqueur intermixed with raspberries, incense, toast, and licorice. Full-bodied yet ethereal in the sense that it seems to combine power along with eloquence and delicacy, this is a beautifully pure wine that has just hit its plateau of full maturity, although ideally I think it would benefit strongly from another 4-5 years of bottle age and drink well for two to three decades." -Robert Parker

Senorio de San Vicente Rioja 2009 Red Spanish Wine
Senorio de San Vicente Rioja 2009 Red Spanish Wine

93 Points - International Wine Cellar, September 2013 "(100% tempranillo peludo; aged for 20 months in new French and American oak): Bright purple. Heady, smoke- and spice-accented aromas of dark berries, incense, potpourri and vanilla. Round and seamless in the mouth, offering sweet blackberry and cassis flavors enlivened by a bracing note of minerality. Supple tannins give shape to the strikingly persistent finish, which leaves a sexy floral pastille note behind." –Josh Raynolds ALSO: 92 Points - Wine Advocate, December 2013 90 Points - Wine Spectator, September 2013

Cade Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain 2014 Napa Valley California Red Wine 750mL
Cade Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain 2014 Napa Valley California Red Wine 750mL

93 points Wine Advocate December 2016

"The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate from their Howell Mountain vineyards is a blend of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Merlot and Petit Verdot. A beauty, with mulberry, blackcurrant and blackberry fruit, graphite and spice, the wine cuts a broad swath across the palate with no hard edges. The color is a healthy, deep purple and the wine full-bodied, rich, and while drinkable now, is capable of evolving for up to 15-20 years." -Robert Parker

Floral white pepper notes announce the juicy core of black tea, plum and tangy cherry flavors, with toasty shadings of spice and cedar that linger on the finish. Shows plenty of harmony and detail against velvety tannins. The density and power sneak up on the finish. Drink now through 2027. 899 cases made. –MW

From the Winery: Our ultimate expression of Fruit Weight™. With the depth of licorice, & a cherry like intensity; the fine lattice of tannins are seamless amongst the fruit, yet still provide that opulent mouthfeel that Velvet Glove is consistently notorious for. A wine of pure indulgence.

Dominus Estate 2014 California Red Napa Wine 750 mL

James Suckling 98 points - TOP 100 WINES OF 2017

"Loads of dark tobacco aromas with blackcurrants and black olives. Boysenberries, too. Full to medium body, ultra-fine tannins and lots of flavors of smoke, dried roasted chillis, black truffles, mushrooms and fruit. Bright acidity on the finish. Sexy and subtle austerity. Alluring. Very approachable now but better in 2021." November/2017

Taylor Fladgate vintage Port 1992 Portugese Red Dessert Wine 750 mL
Taylor Fladgate vintage Port 1992 Portugese Red Dessert Wine 750 mL

Extremely limited! No Discounts rated 100 points Wine Advocate February 1995 "Taylor's 1992 Vintage Port is unquestionably the greatest young port I have ever tasted. It represents the essence of what vintage port can achieve. The color is an opaque black/purple, and the nose offers up fabulously intense aromas of minerals, cassis, blackberries, licorice, and spices, as well as extraordinary purity and penetration. Yet this is still an unformed and infantile wine. If Chateau Latour made a late-harvest Cabernet Sauvignon, I suspect it might smell like this. In the mouth, the wine is out of this world, displaying layer upon layer of concentrated black fruits backed by well-integrated tannin and structure. This is a massive, magnificently rich, full-bodied port that will be far more flattering in its youth than were such Taylors as the 1983, 1977, or 1970. It possesses awesome fruit, marvelous intensity, and lavish opulence, all brilliantly well-delineated by the wine's formidable structure. This monumental 30-50 year port is a must purchase for port aficionados.! Also noteworthy is the fact that the 1992 Taylor commemorates the 300th anniversary of this firm, as evidenced by the special bottle Taylor used for this port." -Robert Parker

rated 96 points Winespectator May 31, 2005 "Fresh and lively, with raisin, spice and hints of blackberry. Full-bodied and very tight, with plenty of tannins. Very long. Needs to open. '91/'92 Port retrospective. Best after 2008. 6,200 cases made." –James Suckling
