Chateau Fleur Cardinale St. Emilion Grand Cru 2005 French Red Bordeaux Wine 750 mL
Chateau Fleur Cardinale St. Emilion Grand Cru 2005 French Red Bordeaux Wine 750 mL
Rated 94 points from The Wine Advocate; eRobertParker.com issue #219 June, 2015:

"This beautiful wine from Fleur Cardinale performed great in its youth, both from barrel as well as post-bottling. A gorgeous blend of 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon made by the Decoster family, the 2005 provides more evidence that this property is fully exploiting its tremendous potential. A few years away from reaching its plateau of maturity, its stunning nose of black cherry liqueur, cassis, licorice, earth and spice is followed by a full-bodied, concentrated and pure wine. Drink it over the next 15 or more years. Drink: 2015-2030."

Chateau Grand Pontet St.-Emilion 2000 French Bordeaux Red Wine
Chateau Grand Pontet St.-Emilion 2000 French Bordeaux Red Wine
92 Points - Wine Advocate, April 2003
"Quality has exploded in 2000, offering an extra dimension in both aromas and flavors. A blend of 75% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon produced from modest yields of 30 hectoliters per hectare, this opaque purple-colored, fat, ripe, exotic, flamboyant effort (coffee, plums, vanilla, and sweet black cherries galore) is a St.-Emilion fruit-bomb made in a modern style. With loads of character, glycerin, fruit, and concentration, this full-bodied, "stacked and packed" wine will be adored by consumers! Anticipated maturity: Now-2015." -Robert Parker

92 Points - Wine Spectator, March 2013
"Very intense aromas of minerals and crushed berries, with hints of flowers. Full-bodied, with super silky tannins and a long, caressing finish. Sleek wine. Greatest wine ever from this estate. Best after 2008. 3,750 cases made." -James Suckling

Chateau Haut Bergey Pessac-Leognan 2000 French Red Wine 750 mL

Extremely limited, No discounts! 94 Points - Wine Advocate, June 2010 "I bought this wine for myself because I thought it was a sleeper of the vintage, and I couldn't be happier. My score in two tastings was identical to what it was seven years ago. Chocolatey espresso notes jump from the glass of this dark ruby/purple-colored wine. Full-bodied, with a silky texture, loads of concentration and density, this is a beautiful wine that is both hedonistically and intellectually pleasing. The wine seems to have reached full maturity, where it should stay for another 10-15 years." -Robert Parker

Chateau Kirwan Margaux 2005 French Red Bordeaux Wine 750mL
Chateau Kirwan Margaux 2005 French Red Bordeaux Wine 750mL
Rated 90+ points from The Wine Advocate; eRobertParker.com, #219 June, 2015:

"A third-growth, this intense, powerful and concentrated wine should play to its strengths in a vintage such as 2005, with its enormous tannin and density. This is one of the more backward of the 2005s, quite masculine, tannic and bold, with a deep ruby/purple color, lots of spice, a touch of wood and new oak as well as a medium to full-bodied, rather backward, tannic mouthfeel. It’s all there, and the wine certainly has plenty of concentration, but it needs another 3-5 years of cellaring. It should drink well for at least a quarter of a century. Drink: 2018-2045."

Chateau L'Arrosee Saint Emilion 2005 750 mL French Red Bordeaux Wine
Chateau L'Arrosee Saint Emilion 2005 750 mL French Red Bordeaux Wine

91 Wine Advocate eRobertParker.com #219 Jun 2015 Drink: 2015 - 2030

"A Bordeaux that seems to have a Burgundian personality, L’Arrosée’s 2005 displays elegance and finesse, with sweet black cherry and blackcurrant fruit, hints of minerality and earth, but soft tannin, a lush, medium-bodied style, and impressive concentration, purity and overall texture. By no means a blockbuster (in a vintage that produced almost endless numbers of them), this wine can be drunk now or cellared for another 15-20 years." -Robert M. Parker Jr.

Chateau La Conseillante Pomerol 2000 Red Bordeaux Wine
Chateau La Conseillante Pomerol 2000 Red Bordeaux Wine

Extremely limited, No discounts! 96 Points - Wine Advocate, June 2010 "La Conseillante made an excellent wine in 2001, another great one in 2005, and the estate hit home runs in both 2008 and, above all, in 2009. In fact, the latter vintage may well end up being the modern-day reference point for La Conseillante. Nevertheless, there's a lot to be said for this 2000. An elegant, gentle style that is never a blockbuster, the 2000 La Conseillante has a deep ruby/plum/purple color and an unbelievably expressive nose of sweet kirsch liqueur intermixed with raspberries, incense, toast, and licorice. Full-bodied yet ethereal in the sense that it seems to combine power along with eloquence and delicacy, this is a beautifully pure wine that has just hit its plateau of full maturity, although ideally I think it would benefit strongly from another 4-5 years of bottle age and drink well for two to three decades." -Robert Parker

Chateau La Fleur Petrus Pomerol 2000 Red Bordeaux Wine 750 mL
Chateau La Fleur Petrus Pomerol 2000 Red Bordeaux Wine 750 mL

93+ Points - Wine Advocate, June 2010 "I am not convinced the 2000 La Fleur Petrus is going to eclipse the 1998, which performed even better in a recent tasting. Nevertheless, it is a terrific effort from this estate, sandwiched between the hallowed vineyards of Petrus and Lafleur. A deep plum/ruby color is followed by aromas of mocha, kirsch liqueur, loamy soil, spice box, and licorice. It is an opulent, medium to full-bodied, big, substantial yet elegant, precise Pomerol displaying beautiful purity. It is just beginning to drink well, and should continue to age for another 10+ years. One of the two bottles I tasted was corked." -Robert Parker

Chateau La Mondotte St. Emilion 1996 Red Bordeaux Wine
Chateau La Mondotte St. Emilion 1996 Red Bordeaux Wine

Extremely limited, no discounts! 97 Points - Wine Advocate, April 1999 "An amazing wine, the 1996 La Mondotte (approximately 800 cases made from a 30-year old parcel of 100% Merlot planted on a hillside between Le Tertre-Roteboeuf and Canon La Gaffeliere) is a super-star. If readers cannot get excited by tasting the 1996, they should change beverages. It is amazing for both its appellation and the vintage, revealing a remarkable level of richness, profound concentration, and integrated tannin. The thick purple color suggests a wine of extraordinary extract and richness. This super-concentrated wine offers a spectacular nose of roasted coffee, licorice, blueberries, and black currants intermixed with smoky new oak. It possesses full body, a multidimensional, layered personality with extraordinary depth of fruit, a seamless texture, amazing viscosity, and a long, 45-second finish. The tannin is sweet and well-integrated. This blockbuster St.-Emilion should be at its best between 2006-2025. A dry, vintage port Fonseca! For its immense size, this wine is neither heavy nor over-done!" -Robert Parker

Chateau Lagrange St. Julien 2010 French Red Bordeaux Wine
Chateau Lagrange St. Julien 2010 French Red Bordeaux Wine
93 Points - Wine Enthusiast, February, 2013
"With vineyards in the west of Saint-Julien, Lagrange produces wines that are polished and elegant. In 2010, that style has been suffused with tannins while also delivering a black currant flavor. The wine is rich and ripe, with just the right amount of tannic structure for the fruit." —Roger Voss

92 Points - Wine Spectator, March 2013
"Notes of singed alder, graphite and charcoal wrap around the core of intense blackberry paste, warm plum sauce and currant preserves. Turns sleek and racy on the well-knit finish despite the notable grip. Best from 2015 through 2030." –James Molesworth
