Cade Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain 2013 Napa Valley California Red Wine 750mL
Cade Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain 2013 Napa Valley California Red Wine 750mL

92 Points from Wine Advocate! eRobertParker.com, #222 December, 2015

"The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon (77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Malbec and 15% Petit Verdot, tipping the scales at 15.1% alcohol) has an inky purple color, a beautiful nose of blueberry and blackberry fruit, licorice and spring flowers. It is complex, rich, full-bodied, opulent, sexy and lush. This is a 2013 to drink now, as well as cellar for 10-15+ years. Drink 2016-2031."

Rated 93 Points from Vinous Media! October, 2015

"The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is deep, plush and inviting, with a rush of fruit that takes hold of all the senses. Voluptuous and super-expressive, the 2013 is sure to find many fans. Inky blue and purplish fruit, spices, mint and white pepper are all laced together in a sumptuous, inviting wine. Mocha, plum and blueberry jam are some of the notes that grace the supple, open-knit finish. This is an especially accessible Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon, but I doubt there will be too many complaints about that. Drink 2017-2028." - Antonio Galloni

Rated 92 Points from Wine Spectator! Online only, 2016

"Though firm and dense, this is charming and agreeable already, with dried dark berry, sage and cedary oak flavors folding together. Appealing suppleness. Drink now through 2028. 6,558 cases made." -JL

"Hand picked, sorted, punched. Open top bin maceration combined with modified cold carbonic maceration. Cask & puncheon aged 18 months in new and neutral french oak." - From the bottle

"1990 Sassacaia, 1990 Masseto, I’d be thrilled to live in the immense shadow of the wine from this region of my 1st love, Tuscany. She has a spell cast over me. She taunts me like the Sirens. I believe it’s the dance between the Sangiovese and the Cab Sav. The beef and cherries. This template is by far the biggest guess. When this wine was conceived, no one in this area has attempted Sangiovese that I was aware of. Therefore no physical evidence to suggest that we would be able to pull off the NAGA. The Kundalini Serpent. The Mountain Goddess. Only the educated guess based on terrior and some faith in our intuition. We now know for certain that Sangiovese does well in both Southern and Northern Arizona as evidenced by the Nagual del MARZO and KITSUNÉ. The Naga will continue to be one our flagship blends. And as of 2010 this wine is now made from 100% Arizona fruit." -The Winery

#189 June 2010 Drink: 2010 - 2025 "A great sleeper of the vintage, this fully mature wine, made by Helene Garcin, has loads of deep raspberry and black cherry fruit with hints of licorice, toasty oak, and spice box. It is plush, succulent, and hedonistic, yet at the same time complex. I loved their 1998, and this wine seems to have turned out just as well. It has reached full maturity, where it should stay for at least a 10 to 15-year period." Robert M. Parker Jr.

Chateau Bellevue Saint Emilion 2003 Red Bordeaux Wine 750 mL

Rated 93 Points Wine Advocate #164 April 2006

"This 15+ acre estate, situated on a south/southwest-facing slope, has been making sensational wines since 2000, when the management of the vineyard and winemaking were taken over by Nicolas Thienpont and Stephane Derenoncourt. The 40-year-old, bio-dynamically farmed vineyard is planted with 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. The 2003 possesses superb ripeness as well as a stony, mineral liqueur-like intensity, a reticent but promising perfume of black raspberries, sweet kirsch, and blacker fruits, a full-bodied, powerful, concentrated attack and mid-palate, and a blockbuster, long, powerful, moderately tannic finish. It is an infant in terms of development. No doubt this site’s clay and limestone soils were the perfect antidote for the summer’s torrid heat and drought. This superb effort should only be purchased by patient connoisseurs. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2025+"

Extremely limited, No discounts! 95+ Points - Wine Advocate, June 2010 "This was the breakthrough vintage for this fabulous terroir that had been under-exploited for so many years. A collaboration between Nicolas Thienpont and Stephane Derenoncourt, this medium to full-bodied, pure blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc reveals aromas reminiscent of a liqueur of crushed rocks, black currants, and raspberries. The tannins are still present, and the wine is firmer than I expected, but it is loaded. Made in a distinctive, singular, elegant style, it will be even better in 5-6 years, and should last for two decades thereafter - longer than I originally predicted." -Robert Parker

Chateau Bellisle Mondotte St Emilion Grand Cru 2005 French Red Bordeaux Wine 750 mL
Chateau Bellisle Mondotte St Emilion Grand Cru 2005 French Red Bordeaux Wine 750 mL
Rated (89-91) points from The Wine Advocate; eRobertParker.com issue #164 April, 2006:

"Unquestionably the best example of Bellisle-Mondotte (which lives in the shadow of its neighbor, La Mondotte) I have yet tasted, the 2005 exhibits a deep ruby/purple color along with sweet black fruit notes interwoven with new oak, licorice, and loamy soil undertones. Medium to full-bodied, moderately tannic, fresh, lively, and vibrant, it will provide enjoyable drinking over the next 15 years. Drink: 2006-2021."

Rated 91 points from Wine Spectator; March 31st, 2008:

"Has licorice, blackberry and mineral character on the nose. Full-bodied, with very well-integrated tannins and a seamless tannin structure. Balanced and refined. Very pretty. Best after 2013. 1,830 cases made." –JS

Rated 92 points from The Wine Advocate; eRobertParker.com issue #176 April, 2008:

"This chateau, which is often under the radar (production is only 5,500-6,000 cases), has fashioned a terrific, inky/blue/purple-hued 2005 with a beautiful bouquet of spring flowers, creme de cassis, pain grille, and blueberries. Powerful and concentrated with full-bodied richness, stunning purity, and a tannic, 40+-second finish, this beauty requires patience. Anticipated maturity: 2017-2030+."
