Tasting Notes:
This full-bodied red wine has an intense ruby red/violet colour. It has an intense cherry, tabacco and vanilla marked backtaste flavour. It has a lingering, intense and smooth flavour, full of tannin which brings out its territorial typicality. It may be served with grilled red meat.

Winemaker's Notes:Alcohol 13-13.5; Grape variety Montepulciano, 2004 vintage blended with 10% Sangiovese. Aging and resting: steel 6 months, 300L Slavonian oak casks 10 months, bottles 6 months.

Montepulciano d’Abruzzo from Ortona, San Salvo and Pollutri districts. Ruby red with garnet reflections, intense and persistent fragrance, fruity (red fruit, prunes and egriot) with vanilla essence.

"100% Montepulciano d'Abruzzo harvested in September and October in the Abruzzo region of central Italy. Fermentation and aging takes place in stainless steel to promote the wine's fruit purity. Deep ruby color with a bouquet showing find intensity and some complexity. Red berries, cherry, red currants alon gwith violets and a hint of tobacco on the palate." -The Winery
