3 cheers for the red, white and rosé: your all American 4th of July rosé from Washington

Welcome to the United States of Rosé, of all the rosés of all the world we feature for the summer, this recent addition has really caught my attention. In any given endeavor America might not be the first but we usually do it the best and aren’t afraid to say so. So here is my rosé flavor of the week, very appropriate for celebrating our Independence day and dangerously easy to drink. The Charleses in charge of this wine are renowned Yankee winemaker Charles Smith (K Vintners and Charles Smith Wines) and Frenchman Charles Bieler (Bieler Pere et Fils, Three Thieves and Sombra Mezcal) who’s made rosé in Provence for many years and obviously is very good at it. It is all Washington State Syrah and has the perfect balance of sweet and savory with lots of strawberry and raspberry and a nice crisp cut that just keeps you wanting more. to purchase Charles & Charles Rosé online
